MSX / MSX Home Computers

When i was younger, their were only 2 popular home computer systems available in the netherlands: Commodore 64 and MSX , and back then you had to pick sides ;-)

I was a commodore owner, which had the better graphics and sound at the time. But one thing the commodore never had were Konami games.

Konami used the MSX as their breeding ground and many great franchises like Metalgear and Castlevania have their roots on the MSX system. Luckily my nephew owned a MSX system and i frequently visited him to play on his MSX. Its a great system and it has some amazing games (mostly all konami stuff). Later in life i was able to buy my own MSX and started collecting the Konami MSX games. There even is a section on this website dedicated to this collection.

 

Here are the games i have developed for the MSX and MSX2 computers. The games run on the stock MSX1 computers, as well as on the MSX2 with enhanced graphics.
